How to fix a computer problem...?

my not so good at computers boyfriend decided to fix our computer by going back a couple of months on the computer to fix a problem we had.. basically he tried to wipe months away from the computer and now that he did that.. we have norton internet security corporate edition for antivirus. we are trying to get rid of it now and it says failed error and wont delete it from add/remove programs. i cant seem to get rid of it and it is driving me nuts. some other programs are doing the same thing and saying it isnt in our system but it is in add/remove programs.. norton works.. it just wont delete.. can anyone help me??? or do i have to go to a prfessional to help me out.. thanks.. SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE.

Get a program called GiPo Move On Boot. Install it and launch it. Drag the files you want deleted into the text box in GiPo and click OK. Reboot, and the files will be gone. I think Move On Boot can be found at http://majorgeeks.com. If not, just Google it.

Some versions of Norton can be tricky to uninstall.........they have made a special uninstaller just for this job....follow the link below and good luck

if you havent already done so, try start up in safe mode, and uninstall the programs. Safe mode ensures that startup is strictly limited to the neccesary files to run window explorer.
