Need computer virus help PLEASE!!!!?

I think I have a virus on my computer. I have windows xp and the AOL safety and security virus protection. I believe that I have a virus somehow, my screen scrambles at times and has been acting up on me.

HOW DO I GET RID OF IT???????

It will tell you what's running on your computer.

Keep in mind - just because your computer is 'acting up' doesn't mean you have a virus.

You might have a hardware problem that's just starting. --- You need to be careful before you delete things that are running (they might be needed)
