They are needed to make your Windows Secure.

Delete them at your own risk!!

Don't remove updates, they are necessary for security %26 stability. You need to keep your OS updated.

To speed up your machine:

1. Go to Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Dlt) and turn off unneeded processes

2. Go to Start%26gt;%26gt;Run, type msconfig click OK, click Start Up tab %26 turn off anything you don't need. Then click Services tab %26 turn off anything there you don't need

3. Get a registry cleaner %26 run it to clean out all the leftover stuff -- I use EusingRegCleaner http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_clea...

4. Run Defrag (Start%26gt;%26gt;Programs%26gt;%26gt; Accessories%26gt;%26gt; System Tools)

5. Run Disc Cleanup--same place as Defrag
