LAPTOP STOLEN! theft/security feautres on them?

MY LAPTOP WAS STOLEN FROM MY CAR I HEARD THAT SOME LAPTOP COME WITH LIKE SOME TRACER SOFTWARE THAT WHEN CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET IT WILL GIVE THE NAME AND NUMBER FOR THE PERSON WHO'S INTERNET IS BEING USED I HAVE 2 OF THE EXACT SAME LAPTOPS (THEY WERE BOUGHT FOR MY OFFICE) SO I GUESS MY QUESTION IS ARE SOME LAPTOPS EQUIPED WITH THIS TYPE OF SOFTWARE? OR ANY THING OF THE TYPE THAT CAN TRACK MY LAP TOP DOWN WHEN AND IF THE PERSON WHO STOLE IT USES IT ? I AM ON THE SAME LAPTOP NOW AND DONT NO WHERE TO LOOK TO SEE IF THIS SOFTWARE IS ON MY COMPUTER OR ANYTHING ELSE ON IT THAT HAS SOME TYPE OF THEFT SECURITY ON IT

PLEASE INFORMATION WOULD BE GREAT AS I HAVE ALOT OF INFORMATION ON THE STOLEN COMP PERSONAL AND UNREPLACABLE MEMERIES

no not really, there is management software that can do this but unless your company installed it, it didn't come with your PC

If you did not BUY theft protection, you are done. There would be no way to track that down. But if you had and activated the service, you would have some paperwork on how to make your claim, so they can turn on the system to FIND it for you. You'd get your computer BACK and that person would be IN JAIL. It works very well.
