Norton Internet Security popup.?

Every time I go online I get this popup from Norton Internet Security.

Porgram Control, Medium Risk, A remote system is attempting to access your computer.

Under details; Protocol UDP or TCP (Inbound), Remote Address -followed by a different IP each time. And a dropdown with the options; Permit Once, Permit Always (Recomended), Block Once, Block Always and Manually Configure Internet Access.

What is it??? How do I fix it and make it stop?

Poped up about 5 times before I could submit this question.

If you are not sure what the system is, select "block always". Almost sounds like you have a backdoor trojan on your PC. Do a virus scan. Also if you can provide more details on the remote system name. You can also trace the IP's to the source and see where they are coming from

hun wat that popup is tellin u is simple, somebody is tryin 2 ur pc remotly.do not allow this (recommended) .
I got so fed up with Norton pop ups I uninstalled Norton and went for Windows Live OneCare
Run your antivirus scan to see if you picked up a virust or a trojan script. Otherwise it may be a standard indication that you are logging on. Look closely at the message itself. It may have a problem with recieving cookies from a particular website, and if you trust the site you are going to, tell it to allow.
someone might be hacking you, in dubious cases, if you know what program it is (like yahoo, msn) then your permit it and if it is a RAW IP address then you should choose block always.

Im not using symantec anymore so cant help you configuring the settings.
Your firewall is setting itself. Keep allowing those you want or know and always refuse unknowns. It is doing its job to keep you safe.
