How to choose a best security cam for my Office?

My Technology channel office has 6 to 8 working employees working 24 hours a day, I am realted to Network and Wan equipment selling department and please tell me how can I store video on my computer but I dont have time to see all the stored security cam videos daily so what shall i do, appoint a scurity man for it or else

Prehaps it might be worth it to have an offsite company do the monitoring. It all depends on what they are monitoring for?

Are you concerned about people sleeping at work, not working, leaving early? This could be easily checked by an outside company.

Are you concerned about hardware theft? Pretty obvious if someone tries to walk off with a monitor?

Or do you really need to watch what people are doing on a key by key level?

You can build a "DVR" basically a security camera tivo, that could record up to 4, 8, 16 cameras constantly with enough storage for a few days of time lapse video. You can also build it to capture just people entering and leaving the space or use key badges to get in and out of the office. This would tell you how long people are actually there.

If you want a simple thing, go buy a linksys network based web cam. Then you can monitor from your office, home etc. They will never know who is watching. Also could setup a computer to record the video.
