!!Help Me !! I needs know how to show ur computer in vista to different comp to share printers.....

i need to know how to make my computer discoverable in vista to a another vista comp. to share printers

I ALREADY PRESSED NETWORK DISCVERY on the network and sharing center. and i already pressed printer sharin and i already went to the printers and slected the ones I wanted to share.

I am wondering if i need to forward some ports to allow windows to broadcast it's stuff???

I have Norton Internet Security (I KNOW it sucks) and AVG antiviris for both computers. both computers are vista home premium (I know vista sucks in general)

It would really help me... I was lookin for it on the forms for like 2 hours =(

If u do find that i need ports to forward plz tell me the port #, application name for the ports, and if it is UCP or TCP.

check if you can add the shared printer using the addprinter wizard from the remote computer. no port forwarding necessary
