HELP MY COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS/SPYWARE......plz help asap?

i think thee is harmfull stuff on my computer....virus..maleware...spyware......

i keep getting internet pop ups saying security center and along with thoes 2 icon get loaded onto my desktop.. LIVE SAFTEY CENTER and ONLINE SECURITY GUIDE and i also kepp getting windows bboxes open one is a gray box open up and say INTERNET EXPLORER ALERT ang me to download soft to get rid of pop ups...i also get a pop up telling me o downlod bestsellers anti virus downloader

i also get a message from quick launch bar saying SECURTYALERT then saying a prblm with my computer

plz tell me how to fix cp and get rid of messages

ps dont just tell me to buy a program or give it to a pc guy...give me something i can do by myslef without having to go to the store if possible
