Clearing history and whatnot..i need a real computer person?

ok, i know theres a lot of places on the computer that store the information about what internet pages you viewed. I already know how to click tools, go to internet options and delete cookies, files, offline content, and history. Id there anywhere else i can delete where ive been on the computer so that no one could know? (im taking a cyber security course)

I'm a computer software and hardware tech. Download CrapCleaner.... www.ccleaner.com and it will do the job for you.

What you do is probably enough, however, history is best deleted by pressing ctrl+h and deleting everything by hand by right clicking each day and click delete. Also, a great and very fast, awesome tool is Ccleaner. www.ccleaner.com

Good luk
yeah.. go to Tools... then internet options... and then delete what u want...
hi.......simple answer is u need security softwares.

as when u delete the data can still be retrieved by external softwares

try system mechanic(free trial available 30 days)

www.iolo.com

it will clear all u privacy details in one click

all cookies all history all videos etc etc all will be cleared

then u can choose securely delete all data it will make recovery of deleted data impossible

try it.........
Theres a history folder above temorary internet files and you can run and clear the temp folder. just type %temp% in the run box by start menu.
If you're talking about your "search" engine, then just highlight the first one and press "delete"...hold the delete key down until they are all gone.

Good Luck
All of the above plus,

C:\temp

C:\WINDOWS\cache

C:\WINDOWS\Temp

C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\Temp
