i bought a new computer with windows vista and it wont let me install mcafee 2006 internet security.any help?? will mcafee 2007 be ok??

use avast home, it is free and very very good!
Why is not Windows Vista perfect? Actually vista is known to have issues with software not designed specifically for Vista.

You can probably turn on the option that allows you to run older window programs. But virus scanners work on a much lower level and I think that probably wouldn't help much.

See if Macfee has a update for 2006 internet security pack.
